For someone with this cross, the direction takes shape while walking; life does not have to follow a plan to be loved. Everything here starts from Gate 46, Determination of the Self.

The Personality axis

Two loves housed in the G Center occupy the Personality side: love of the body, with the 46 at the Sun; universal love, with the 25 at the Earth.

Once it has entered an experience, the body stays in it; whatever happens along the way, setbacks included, becomes part of what is loved. On the Design side, the 15 and the 10 add a welcome for others and a way of behaving that does not take its cue from them.

The harmonic gate of the 46 is in the Sacral: Gate 29, Saying Yes. If the chart contains it, the Channel of Discovery links the G Center to the Sacral, and commitment then starts from a response of the gut.

A barge to fix up

Estelle bought a fixer-upper barge after a walk along the canal. She knew nothing about welding or caulking; she learned by doing it, one Saturday after another.

Three years later, she still does not know whether the boat will ever sail. She works on it every weekend.

The first spring, a flood swamped the new engine. She grumbled for a week, then started following the river gauge readings with the passion of a weather enthusiast.

Her mooring neighbors, a grumpy former bargeman and a couple of young musicians, have not spoken to each other since a dispute over a gangway. She has coffee with the one and drinks with the others, without trying to reconcile them.

Staying without knowing the destination

A long experience needs someone who stays: this person is one of them. The 46 enters it through the body and remains until the end of what it has to offer; no one needs to justify the direction at the start.

This tenacity is light thanks to the 25, at the Earth: a swamped engine becomes a story you tell, without the disappointment having gone away.

The 15 and the 10, on the Design side, make her an easy neighbor. She spends time with people who have nothing in common and keeps her own way of behaving in front of them.

On neither side

Spending time with people who are opposed in every way has a price. Each of the two neighbors expects, one day, that the person will take their side; the 15 has no side, and this refusal to choose can draw criticism from both sides.

The 10, at the Design Earth, accepts the harbor rules; it does not accept being told how to be. When the boaters’ association criticizes her for spending time with both sides, the person hears a demand that she change; the discussion shuts down.

A project may also never end. The 46 can keep a restoration going for years with no end in sight; the 25 loves every setback that prolongs it. Setting yourself a milestone to reach does not betray the gate.

For you, for others

For you

Let your body enter what attracts it, and give it time to come out with a direction. Once a season, check that your body still enjoys returning to where it committed itself.

For others

Do not demand that someone close to you who lives this cross explain a commitment before making it. To help her, offer something concrete, a hand or a tool; keep your plans to yourself.

Frequently asked questions about the Right Angle Cross of the Vessel of Love

Does a personal destiny leave room for others?

Yes: what the Right Angle describes, a personal destiny, excludes no one. In this version, others have their place through the 15, which welcomes the most distant temperaments.

Does Gate 46 help you begin?

It helps you stay. Starting a commitment is decided in another way, according to the type and authority of each chart; the 46 takes over once the body has entered the experience.

Why do setbacks weigh less with this cross?

They weigh just as much; the Earth in the 25 files them among the things that make up life. The disappointment remains whole, and interest in what is happening stays alongside it.

Is hating change compatible with this cross?

Perfectly. The 46 holds to a path, it does not seek novelty; a person can stay twenty years in the same workshop and live this gate fully.
