Vision and speech together
Between the Personality Sun, in the 23, and the Earth, in the 43, the Channel of Structuring forms: the flash of insight and the words that carry it are present from birth; this channel alone defines the Ajna and the Throat. Whether the Personality Sun is in the 23 or in one of the three other gates, the four Crosses of Explanation belong to the Right Angle and its personal destiny.
The bottling line
In a mineral water plant, the bottling line stops three nights in a row, always around two in the morning. At the morning meeting, the team leader turns to Samir, a maintenance technician: during the night he understood that the label glue cools too much when the loading dock is opened.
He says it in the words of the line operators, not those of the glue supplier: the dock, the draft, the label that buckles. No one asks him to repeat it. The dock stays closed the following night.
The next week, the glue supplier’s representative comes by for something else entirely. Samir explains to him, unprompted, why his labels buckle; the man nods and leaves without writing anything down.
The sentence for the person in front of you
A new idea is useful to a group only if someone can say it in the words of those listening. The 43 sees it, the 23 looks for the sentence that suits the person opposite, without touching the substance.
The Design gates put in order what has been said. The 4 turns it into an answer that others can pick up without its author; the 49 adds the few rules that a close circle knows in advance. The new idea thus arrives within a stable framework.
The right word at the wrong time
An explanation offered before anyone asks for it goes down badly, however accurate it may be. With the Throat defined, the way of saying things stays the same everywhere; what changes from one time to the next is what the listener expects.
A defined Ajna sticks to its method. It took Samir two years to acknowledge that a colleague adjusted the labeling machines better than he did, by a route he found muddled.
A false idea, well put, convinces as quickly as a true one. The 23 takes care of the presentation; it is in the field that the idea is confirmed or falls apart.
