What makes Night different from other seals?
The interior life is enormous. Not in a self-absorbed way — in a way that means Night is running on a completely different amount of information than most people realize. While others are working with what's visible, Night is working with what's sensed. That's either a significant advantage or a source of chronic self-doubt, depending entirely on whether Night has learned to trust what it senses.
What do most Night people get wrong about themselves?
They think their doubt is realism. It isn't. Night's doubt runs ahead of the evidence because the inner world is so rich and the outer world so often disappointing by comparison. So Night builds a case for why the dream won't work — thorough, logical, convincing — and calls it being practical. What does Tone 2 ask of you?
