Unlike the Gregorian calendar, the Tzolkin is not based on astronomy but on the mathematics of consciousness. Each combination of seal and tone describes a specific quality of energy — your cosmic archetype, gifts, challenges, and life mission.

How Is the Mayan Kin Calculated?
The Dreamspell system calculates your Kin by counting the days since a reference date and applying modular arithmetic within the 260-day Tzolkin cycle. Importantly, the Dreamspell does not count February 29th (leap days), keeping the calendar synchronized with the solar cycle.

Why does the Dreamspell skip February 29?
