What does Eagle actually see that others don't?
The shape of what's happening. Not just the present situation but the trajectory — where this has been, where it's going, what pattern it's part of. Eagle reads at scale naturally and quickly. Most people experience this as impressive. What they don't see is that it also means Eagle can't unsee things. Including things they'd prefer not to know.
What does Eagle get wrong about vision?
That seeing is the same as doing. It isn't. Accurate assessment from altitude is a starting condition, not an outcome. Eagle can understand a situation with precision and still not act, not connect, not change anything. The vision without willingness to come down and do something unglamorous with it is just watching.
How does Eagle fail the people it loves?
Distance that doesn't look like distance. Eagle is present, attentive, sees everything about the person in front of them. But there's a way of seeing that stays above contact. The people Eagle loves often feel both deeply understood and somehow not quite reached. Eagle participates less and less as the years go on. Not from coldness — from a height that becomes habit.

The shadow of exceptional vision is the belief that other people's limitations are character failures. They're not. They're just different altitudes.
Why does Tone 2 feel so destabilizing?
Because that's exactly what it's for. Lunar doesn't smooth things over — it surfaces the tension that was already there. Born under Tone 2, you probably notice contradiction faster than most people. The friction you feel isn't a problem to solve. It's where the real information lives.
What does Tone 2 ask of you?
To hold both sides without collapsing into one. Lunar's power is stabilizing through polarity, which means you have to resist the reflex to pick a side and be done with it. The tension is the point. Stay in it long enough and something true emerges.
What's the difference between Tone 2 and Tone 11?
Both deal with instability, but differently. Tone 2 creates productive tension — it holds opposites in view so something can be clarified. Tone 11 dissolves what's already finished. One is a pressure that reveals; the other is a release that liberates. Tone 2 asks you to stay with the friction. Tone 11 lets you finally let go.
