A group entrusts its road to the person with this cross, and some of its members later tell them privately what they keep quiet about in meetings. On the Design side stand a direction with nothing to prove and a recognizable manner, which stay theirs whatever the group.
A role without a voice of its own
Gate 7 ties the guiding role to recognition from the group: neither a title nor a defined G Center adds anything to it. Even so, the cross does not give this role a voice of its own. The harmonic gate of the 7, Gate 31, Leading, sits in the Throat, outside the four gates.
When the chart also contains the 31, their channel, the 7-31, Channel of the Alpha, runs from the G Center all the way to speech; the role receives words that the group remembers. Without it, the person guides through their proposals, with no formula of their own.
A playground plan
For two years, at the middle school in Lorient, the supervisors followed the playground plan proposed by Ghislaine, the head of student life: a quiet corner under the covered area, the balls on the other side of the fence. Nobody had imposed it on her; the team at the time had asked her for it, then adopted it.
At the start of last school year, half the supervisors changed. The new ones let the balls come back under the covered area. Ghislaine did not defend her plan: the place she had been given had left with the team that gave it to her. Her attendance sheets, for their part, are still recognizable by their freehand columns.
A recognized place, a road of one’s own
A group finds a direction in this person without having to fight over first place: the 7 proposes a road just when one is being sought. The 13, which holds the Personality Earth, adds what members only say one to one.
The 2 and the 1, on the Design side, leave the person a direction that no outside opinion sets and a manner that signs what they do. Neither depends on the group that calls on them.
Guiding without being asked
Taking the guiding role before a group has offered it closes that place off. A Projector waits for the invitation, a Generator for something to respond to; without them, the proposal of the 7 falls flat, even when it is right.
The role can also spill over onto the direction. Called on from all sides, the person puts off their own choices and lives the groups’ road as if it were their own. For the Right Angle, what is at stake is a personal destiny: guiding others does not stand in for it.

Do you need a title to guide?
Not with Gate 7: the place is given and taken back as the group sees fit, in a family as in a department. An official position adds nothing to it and does not replace it.
Do the confidences come from the guiding role?
They come from another gate. The Personality Earth here is in Gate 13, The Listener, which receives unsolicited stories whatever the definition of the G Center; the role of the 7, for its part, depends on the group.
What does the person have left when the group changes?
Their road and their manner. The guiding place leaves with the group that had entrusted it; the 2, at the Design Sun, and the 1, at the Design Earth, stay the same from one team to the next.
Can the role a group entrusts be turned down?
Yes. The gate describes a place on offer, not an obligation to take it; on a day without availability, the person can let the group look for its road without them.
