A project shared with others sooner or later goes through a moment when desire is missing, while the work goes on; those who get through it together learn what the project demands in ordinary months.
Two gates facing the Throat
Two gates of the cross have a harmonic gate in the Throat. The 36 finds Gate 35, Change, there; the 10 finds one of its harmonic gates, Gate 20, the Now. With the first, an urge can become speech or action without delay; with the second, the behavior of the 10 finds its words in the moment.
With the 10-20, the Channel of Awakening, as the only channel, the chart would be a Projector’s, with authority coming from the G Center.
The Left Angle of this version refers to transpersonal karma, which the person lives through their encounters with others.
The Monday toy library
Lorraine opened a toy library with three friends in a former shoe store. The first year, she staffs three sessions a week and comes up with themed evenings.
The following fall, the desire drops without warning. She tells the others at the September meeting: no more enthusiasm, but she is keeping two sessions while she sees how things go. Nobody asks her to choose.
Each of them runs hers in her own way: one reads the rules aloud, another lets families figure things out.
Lorraine always explains a game by playing a first round with the children, even on the evening a new volunteer offers her a printed set of instructions, the same for everyone.
A project where nobody forces the pace
In a group, the person asks none of their partners to change pace and does not change their own to please anyone. The 15 leaves each partner to her own rhythm, the 10 holds to its behavior without bending to suggestions.
The low point of the 36 also serves the group when it is spoken. A partner who carried on without enthusiasm knows what the project demands in ordinary months; that knowledge carries weight the day people talk about expanding it or scaling it back.
A low point that others misread
Seen from outside, the low point looks like disengagement. A partner who says nothing about her weariness leaves the others imagining a departure, and the 6 can add its distance at the same moment, which deepens the misunderstanding.
Ask her to do as everyone else does, and the 10 digs in: its behavior is not set by approval, and a shared rule experienced as being brought into line gets a flat refusal.
The low point also pushes toward deciding too early. Announcing your withdrawal on an evening without desire amounts to deciding on the strength of a single mood; an answer found again across several moods is a firmer commitment, for yourself as well as for others.
For you, for others
For you
Tell your partners when the desire drops, without waiting to know whether it will come back: your silence would leave them imagining a departure.
For others
Your business partner has this cross: if she tells you the desire has dropped, do not mentally replace her just yet; ask her what she plans to keep.
Frequently asked questions about the Left Angle Cross of the Plane
How does this Cross of the Plane differ from the version that starts from Gate 6?
In the gate that opens the cross. Here, the low point of the 36 comes first and the distance of the 6 goes with it; in the other version, the distance comes first. The name and the angle are the same.
Does a low point have a predictable length?
None. The wave of the Solar Plexus has its own rhythm; it rises again, without any date that can be announced.
Does a way of acting that does not bend weigh on a team?
It can ruffle feathers at first. It also gives others a stable reference point: they know how the person will react and divide up the tasks accordingly.
Is letting a partner work at her own pace the same as approving of her?
Not necessarily. The 15 accepts the variety of rhythms; it says nothing about agreement on substance, which is discussed as it would be anywhere else.
