What others tell or ask becomes material for reflection, taken up again and again until a form emerges. The form found then serves a group, which grants the person a place without a title.

A center shared without being defined

Gate 13, The Listener, and Gate 7, Role of the Self, share the G Center in the Design without defining it. Receiving confidences and guiding a group do not depend on this center’s definition: both also operate when it is open.

This is a Left Angle cross, an angle Human Design links to transpersonal karma. With this angle, reaching one’s purpose goes through other people.

The second half

Lionel coaches a youth soccer team. One September evening, a mother asks in passing why the children collapse in the second half. He answers that he does not know.

The question follows him all fall. He no longer talks about it, but every Saturday he watches the bench more than the field; his answer changes from week to week: first fatigue, then the bench itself, where the substitutes wait until the match has been decided. In January, he rotates everyone in and out every quarter of the game.

In the spring, the club’s two other coaches ask him how he organizes his rotations. He shows them his game sheet; they adopt it for their teams.

Thinking from other people

Gate 24 finds its material in what reaches the Ajna: a question tossed out in passing, a conversation, a story. What comes out of weeks of returning to it then answers real situations, heard firsthand from the people involved.

Gate 44, Alertness, placed at the Earth, links a proposal to a precedent before any discussion. Gate 13, The Listener, makes the person an ear people come to, and Gate 7, Role of the Self, gives their solutions a group willing to follow them, once it has recognized the person.

The role seized uninvited

No one assumes the place of the 7 in advance: it is the group that grants it. Someone who should wait for an invitation, or for the response of their Sacral, and who takes the lead because they think they have understood everything, finds that the group does not follow.

Other people’s problems can also take up all the room. By turning over those entrusted to them, the person leaves their own questions unshaped.

An open Ajna takes up the reasoning it hears and amplifies it. An argument slipped in at the edge of the field can resurface three weeks later as a personal conviction, whose origin the person has forgotten.

For you, for others

For you

Let other people’s conversations come back into your thoughts as much as they like, then check who will benefit from what you draw from them. Wait for a group to ask you the way before you show it. Keep some of that time for your own questions, too.

For others

Confiding a worry to someone close who has this cross gives them something to think about for weeks: ask them later what they made of it. If you expect them to guide your group, tell them clearly.

Frequently asked questions about the Left Angle Cross of Incarnation

Does the 24 make use of the confidences it receives?

It takes up what the Ajna receives, conversations included; a confidence is part of that. What comes out is a new form, not the confidence itself; nothing passes from the 13 to the 24 through a channel.

Why does the person take so long to answer a question asked in passing?

Because Gate 24 takes an idea up again and again until repetition transforms it, with no deadline. An answer given right away would be a provisional form; better to announce it as such than to stick to it.

With Gate 33 elsewhere in the chart, do confidences come back out?

Yes, after a delay. The 33 completes the 13-33, the Channel of the Prodigal, which defines the G Center and the Throat; the stories gathered then come out later, in the form of a narrative.

Does an alert from the 44 settle the question?

It signals a precedent, without deciding. The decision belongs to the person’s strategy and authority, and none of the four gates of this cross determines them alone.
