A nurse leaves a secure job for a city where she knows no one, without being able to say why. The course is clear to her; what’s missing is the explanation, and its absence doesn’t stop her.
A heading more than knowledge
On the other side, in the Sacral, Gate 14, Power Skills, waits for Gate 2. The channel that joins them, the 2-14, is called the Channel of the Beat: it is through this channel that the course finds an engine.
Gate 2 sits in the G Center, and there it holds a course without needing to ground it in logic. It shows which way to walk; the destination stays unknown. When Gate 14 is missing, the gate keeps its place in the chart, but the direction no longer has behind it the working energy the channel would tie to it.
Roads that light up as you go
At nineteen, Hugo leaves a law degree to learn carpentry. No one in his family has done this trade; he has no plan. He only knows that the direction is right. That certainty doesn’t require any inner debate.
Nadia doesn’t do anything spectacular. She turns down a promotion that would have sent her to Lyon, then, two years later, accepts a lower-paid job in her own city. From the outside, her path zigzags; she sees a single line in it.
Neither Hugo nor Nadia knows where their road leads. The course becomes clearer with each choice, like a path where you can only see the next bend.
Holding a line
A whole circle of family and friends can doubt a choice without the person with Gate 2 losing the thread. Their orientation doesn’t depend on others’ agreement, since it never rested on arguments.
When Gate 14 completes the channel, this orientation gains what it needs to last: years of work can line up behind it.
The course and the moment of deciding
A course doesn’t replace a decision. Someone with this gate and Emotional Authority can sense the direction in a moment of euphoria and sign that same evening. Once the rush has faded, the road hasn’t changed; the commitment made in enthusiasm, though, weighs differently.
The new supplier’s invoice lands on a business partner’s desk before any explanation. Her partner, a Manifesting Generator, followed his direction fast, without telling her. Anger rises on both sides, when a word the day before would have been enough.
Nothing prevents a Reflector from having Gate 2. The system asks them to wait a lunar cycle before big choices. If the direction still holds at the end of that month, they can follow it; if it faded along with a place or a group of people, that is where it came from.

It completes the Channel of the Beat and defines the Sacral. The direction gains the backing of working energy, on one condition: that the Sacral has responded to what comes along.
