What does an exhausted Hand look like?
Work in progress everywhere. Projects at 80% piling up, energy that starts strong and vanishes just when it is time to wrap up. The exhausted Hand doesn’t collapse: it starts over, it launches something else. Leaving things unfinished becomes escape disguised as productivity.
Why is finishing something so hard for the Hand?
Because starting awakens something powerful in it: the promise of what the thing could become. Finishing means facing what it has become, with its limits and its gaps compared with the original idea. Every completion carries a kind of grief, and the Hand avoids it without realizing it by staying in the in-between. The paradox is that all its real power lies in completion.
What does the Hand need to learn once and for all?
That the momentum of the beginning won’t come back if it doesn’t finish. It is not a matter of discipline.
