Kin 17: an Earth that wants to know the terrain before trusting the slightest sign.
You quickly notice what echoes around you, a name heard in the morning and read again in the evening, an offer that comes along on the very day you were thinking about it. But your Self-Existing tone is not content with this noticing to set you on your way. You need to know where these signs fit: in what frame, over what length of time, within what limits. A chance encounter only becomes a serious lead once it has been placed on a map you have drawn yourself.
This is where things get complicated. The Earth moves forward as events unfold, and events respect no plan: the more the terrain is marked out before you set foot on it, the more likely the clue that arrives outside the frame is to slip past, and it may have been the one that mattered. The Red Skywalker, guide of this Kin, does without a plan. It heads toward what does not yet have a name and finds its bearings as it walks. To this Earth, it gives a taste for a territory larger than the one it has measured, and the idea that a distant intuition can be connected to the ground without first being fenced in: your plan thus keeps one side open, through which the unexpected can come in without undoing everything.
How far should you mark out a terrain that only reveals itself as you walk it? Your Kin lives within this question, and no plan will settle it for you.
