Kin 14: White Magnetic Wizard
Dreamspell
14of 260
With a clear purpose, the Magnetic Wizard no longer needs to convince: its presence is then enough to gather what is needed around what it wants to bring into being.
People come because, alongside you, a project suddenly seems doable, and they stay because the project has a name. An idea you carry often takes on the air of something obvious that everyone believes they thought of first. You haven’t sold anything; you said what you wanted, and the rest organized itself.
That is also what makes this Kin delicate. The Magnetic tone gathers people around a purpose, whereas the Wizard also attracts through the effect it produces, with or without a purpose. If you don’t put into words what you are looking for, people gather anyway, but around the image they have of you. The group then forms around an expectation you have never expressed.
No outside seal comes to correct this tendency: the Wizard is its own guide here, and its power is doubled. No one else can tell apart, on your behalf, the enchantment that serves from the one that leads astray. That sorting rests on your own receptivity, turned inward this time: sensing, before acting, what you really want to bring together, and saying it.
A purpose spoken out loud protects this Kin better than any amount of caution. As long as it stays silent, the effect you produce chooses for you.
The oracle of Kin 14
Five seals make up the oracle: the Kin’s own seal at the center, and four others around it. At tone 1, the guide is the White Wizard itself.

- The Kin14White Magnetic Wizard
- The guide, the White Wizard
- At tones 1, 6 and 11, the guide is the Kin’s own seal: Kin 14 is its own guide.
- The Analog, the Red Serpent
- The Serpent grounds the Wizard’s energy in the body and in instinct: it reminds the Wizard that real magnetism comes not from thought but from what flows beneath it.
- The Antipode, the Yellow Seed
- The Seed grows slowly, following its own cycles, without caring about the effect it produces: that is exactly what the Wizard must learn, to exist without putting on a show.
- The Occult (hidden power), the Blue Hand
- Beneath the Wizard’s magnetism, the Hand asks: what are you really building? Presence without concrete action remains a pleasant atmosphere.
The White Wizard wavespell
Kin 14 opens a wavespell, a run of 13 days that goes from tone 1 to tone 13. It takes its name from its first seal: it is the White Wizard wavespell, from Kin 14 to Kin 26.
The White Wizard and the Magnetic tone
Kin 14 combines a seal, shared with 12 other Kin, and a tone, shared with 19 others. Their pages describe each one in full.
