Moods rise and fall without waiting for the news; the pull toward others looks for bonds that last. Knowledge, gained through attention to a single piece of work, is shared only once it has been tested.
What Gate 39 would add
Within the cross, no gate has its harmonic gate. The 55 forms the Channel of Emoting with Gate 39, the Provocateur, when that gate appears elsewhere in the chart. This channel runs from the Root to the Solar Plexus. With no other channel in the chart, the Type would be Projector; the authority, emotional.
Its angle is the Juxtaposition, that of the people who form a bridge between the Right Angle and the Left Angle.
A poodle that refuses the table
At the grooming salon, some weeks, Pascale sings while she clips and offers the customers coffee; other weeks, she does not look up from the table and answers in monosyllables. Nothing in the appointment book explains the difference; her regulars have stopped looking for a reason.
In those weeks as in the others, a poodle trembling in front of the clippers can take up a whole hour of her time: she puts down the scissors, waits for it to accept the brush and only takes the next dog once this one is done.
Knowledge tested, then passed on
The attention of the 9 stays on the animal, the piece of work or the task the gut has accepted; nothing else draws it away until it is finished.
The 4/1 profile waits until it has solid foundations before giving an opinion, then passes it on first to the people around it, and the 16 gives it a form: a gesture, an explanation, at the moment someone can use it.
The 59 draws lasting bonds from this shared knowledge, and the 55, in its high moments, adds a generosity that the lows do not take back.
Momentum borrowed from others
When the Sacral is open, the 59 can attach itself to someone else’s project, carried by the momentum of those around. A shared salon proposed warmly by a former apprentice seems obvious as long as she is there, much less so once the person is alone.
The 16 comes into its own in front of someone who can use its knowledge. Explained to a room that asked for nothing, the same skill goes unnoticed.
For you, for others
For you
When your Sacral is open, decide before you start what time you will put down your tools, especially in periods when everyone around you is busy.
For others
A friend who has the Cross of Moods can change mood without anything having happened between you. Let the day go by before asking her what is wrong.
Frequently asked questions about the Juxtaposition Cross of Moods
Is a cheerful mood in a bad period a form of denial?
Nothing suggests so. The 55 describes a mood that owes nothing to circumstances: cheerfulness in a difficult month says nothing about the situation, any more than melancholy during a good period does.
Do the moods of the 55 spread to those around the person?
Someone close whose Solar Plexus is open can pick up this wave, amplify it and believe it is their own. Talking about it early avoids looking for a cause in the relationship.
Would Gate 52 change the focus?
With the 52, Stillness, the 9 would form the Channel of Concentration (9-52): the pressure of the Root would come to hold the attention through to the end of the task, and the Sacral would be defined.
How does the 16 pass on what it knows?
Through speech or gesture, when someone needs it; it sits in the Throat, through which know-how passes to the outside.
