No one has to change their character to be welcomed by someone with this cross: what this person corrects is the organization. An immediate judgment points out what is wrong, then reasoning that can be retraced proves it.

Two judges on the Design side

On the Design side, two centers each judge in their own way. The 17, in the Ajna, builds its conclusion in steps that others can check; the 18, in the Spleen Center, judges the moment without giving its reasons. One moves forward in steps you can follow, the other decides on the spot without explanation.

The 15, at the Personality Sun, keeps people out of these two judgments. What is judged here is a schedule, a process, a rule; anyone’s personal manner is not in question.

Not today

Clovis runs a day camp. For the July outing, he has planned a supervised swim in the river; when he reaches the bank with twenty children, he looks at the water and announces that there will be no swimming today. The water does not seem right to him, and he says no more. The group picnics in the meadow; the swim takes place the following week, in the same spot, without him hesitating.

That evening, some parents ask him why; he does not make up a reason. At the staff meeting, on the other hand, he takes apart the summer outing program point by point, too packed for the youngest: number of trips, hours on the road, children asleep on the way back. The counselors keep running their activities their own way, and the program gets lighter.

Correcting without touching people

What this person corrects targets what surrounds people, never their character. The 15 leaves everyone their temperament and their rhythm; the critical eye turns elsewhere, to what snags in the organization.

The two judges of the Design complement each other. The 18 says in the moment what works and what does not; the 17 builds, alongside, conclusions that can be discussed step by step, so a disagreement is about one point and not the whole.

With the 10 at the Earth, the welcome does not turn into indulgence: the person takes everyone as they are without giving up their own way of acting.

A one-day judgment turned into a rule

What the 18 judges holds for the moment that gave rise to it. The 17, which loves patterns, can draw a lasting rule from it: a river judged bad one Tuesday becomes off-limits all summer, and what was right that day stops being right without anyone revisiting it.

An open Ajna offers the 17 no set method. After a few meetings where its conclusions were contradicted, the person may stop drawing them, and keep to themselves observations the team could have discussed.

For you, for others

For you

Let your first signals come without justifying them, then take the time to build your demonstration. A judgment that was right one day deserves to be revisited the next before it becomes a rule.

For others

A coworker with this cross will let you work your way. When he presents you with an assessment, discuss its steps one by one: that is the response he knows how to use.

Frequently asked questions about the Left Angle Cross of Prevention

Why does such a welcoming cross go through other people?

Because its angle, the Left Angle, brings together people who need others to fulfill their purpose. The welcome of the 15 and the judgments of the 17 and the 18 are not changed by it: they work as they would in any chart.

Why listen to a signal that gives no reasons?

Because it concerns the moment, which the reasoning of the 17 only reaches after the fact. Waiting for the demonstration before acting amounts to deciding about a situation that has already changed.

Does the 15 prevent judging others?

It lets them live at their own pace without dimming the eye of the 18. The two gates aim at different things: people on one side, the organization on the other.

Can an assessment from the 17 hurt someone?

It can, when no one asked for it: an unexpected correction suggests the work was not good enough, even when it targets a schedule and not a person. Presented to someone who is expecting it, step by step, it lets everyone discuss a point without seeing it as an attack.
