Frequently asked questions about the Red Moon
How does the Moon know whether what it feels comes from itself or from others?
Often, it doesn’t, and that is the whole difficulty. The Moon doesn’t receive other people’s emotions as an identifiable outside signal: they arrive in its body as if they were its own. Anxiety rising for no apparent reason, a vague sadness at the end of the day: it may come from the Moon itself, from the room, or from someone it spoke to three hours earlier. Learning to tell the difference takes years, and almost always goes through the body.
What does the Moon need to learn once and for all?
That feeling is not carrying. It can welcome what moves through it without becoming responsible for it.
What does the Moon look like at its hardest?
It reacts to things that don’t belong to it and, since it doesn’t know that, it builds stories around them. It gets angry at someone for a reason that isn’t really the right one. It feels rejected by a situation that doesn’t directly concern it. The people close to it don’t understand what is going on, because the Moon itself doesn’t understand it.
Why are groups and crowds so intense for the Moon?
Because it doesn’t just perceive people: it perceives the emotional texture of an entire place. A tense meeting, even if no one says anything explicit. A party where something is wrong beneath the surface. It picks up on it before anyone else, often without being able to put it into words. It is a real gift. But without active purification, through solitude, calm, water, or movement, this overload gradually isolates it from the world.
