Insight arrives all at once and immediately suggests something to do. The gut still has to respond to it, and desire has to withstand changes of mood: those responses do not come at the speed of the flash.
One flash, two motors
The flash of the 43 and the words of the 23 are given by birth, joined in the Channel of Structuring. Strength and desire come from the Design, through the 29 in the Sacral and the 30 in the Solar Plexus, two gates with no channel between them: their definition depends on the rest of the chart.
This cross belongs to the Left Angle, described as transpersonal karma. This description affects neither the flash nor the yes: the 43 sees and the 29 responds as in any chart that contains them.
Before the collapse
Anselme, a hydrologist for a river management district, walks along a bank with a colleague in November. He stops in front of a meander and says this bank will give way in the spring.
The colleague asks why. Anselme searches without finding anything to point to, and the conversation moves on. In March, the bank collapses over twenty meters.
One evening during a flood, the district’s president calls: can someone go and take the water levels at the county road bridge? Anselme is on the road ten minutes later, without having given it a thought.
The readings from that night still serve as the district’s reference.
The flash, then strength and desire
The 43 finds the way out of a problem at a single glance; the 23, at the Earth, opens a path to words for it.
The Design adds what the flash lacks. The 29 brings the strength of the Sacral, when a concrete proposal makes the gut respond; the 30, a desire that sorts over time what deserves dedication. An idea seen all at once can thus become years of work.
A possibility is not a yes
The flash of the 43 shows a possibility. Taken for a yes, it commits the person to a project their gut never accepted: the flash comes from the Ajna, while the desire and the response come from elsewhere.
An accurate forecast that met with no response leaves a bitter taste. The one who saw it before the others is tempted to repeat it louder, whereas the 23 finds its words better when someone asks the question.
An open Sacral lets the 29 respond to other people’s enthusiasm: an excited meeting can extract a yes the body will not back up.
For you, for others
For you
Ask yourself separately whether an idea that leaps out at you is right and whether you want it: the two answers do not come at the same moment; it is the second one that will commit you.
For others
With a business partner who has this cross, let a few days pass after her enthusiasm, then ask her the question again in the form of a specific proposal. Her answer then is the one that counts. The one from the first evening carries less weight.
Frequently asked questions about the Left Angle Cross of Dedication
Do the 29 and the 30 say the same thing?
One responds, the other desires. The 29 reacts on the spot to a request; the 30 wants to experience something before knowing what, at the pace of its wave. A yes can therefore come before the desire is clear.
What does the 23 add when the flash comes from the 43?
The words that make it heard. The 43 sees the way out without the path; the 23, at the Earth, looks for the words that make it audible; those words change depending on the person in front of you.
Does a yes given in the heat of the moment have to be kept?
A yes from the Sacral keeps its value. When the Solar Plexus is defined, though, it is confirmed after the wave: a commitment made at the height of enthusiasm can turn out to be too broad, then be resized once calm has returned.
What do you do with an insight nobody asked for?
Keep it ready. Offered without being asked for, it falls flat, however right it may be; the same insight, when awaited, is followed all the way through.
