Life’s jolts do not dent the attachment that someone with this cross feels for life. With this person, the same bodily push can carry a whole group along or stay perfectly still, depending on what comes up.

Drive and restraint in the Root

In the Design, the two gates of the cross sit in the Root, a pressure center and a motor. The 58 turns this push toward a zest for life; the 52 holds it without spending it. Here the same center supplies both drive and restraint.

The Root is defined only by a channel formed with another center. Added to these gates, Gate 9, Focus, would form the Channel of Concentration and define the Root and the Sacral, for a Generator chart with Sacral Authority.

The Left Angle, the angle of this version, is described as transpersonal karma; those who have it are said to live it through their connections with others.

Waiting for the screed

The homeowner calls three times in the week to find out when Florian, the tile setter, will start on her bathroom. He comes by, lays his palm on the screed and leaves: it is not dry. The following calls change nothing. On the Monday the screed is ready, he is on site at seven.

Last year, a client refused to pay for an entire job. Florian was furious about it for a month; today he talks about it as the case that taught him to read a contract, and he goes on laying tile in strangers’ homes.

A pressure that chooses its moment

Around this person, urgency gets checked before anyone gives in to it. The 52 holds back the pressure of the Root instead of discharging it at the first signal, and those who panic sometimes discover, in their company, that the alarm was a false one.

That same pressure, the 58 turns into a zest for life that shows in the way the person inhabits their days once work is done.

What the 25 and the 46 hold, at birth, completes the whole. A hard blow remains a part of life; the body carries on with the trade it has started.

A hurry that is not their own

When open, the Root takes in the pressure of those around and amplifies it. The 52 can then lose its calm: on a job run by an anxious client, Florian ends the day as rushed as the client, without anything in him having chosen that haste.

Fatigue is something the zest of the 58 does not measure. After a week in which the 46 kept the body on the job site, an impromptu Friday evening stretches late into the night, and Monday starts on a reserve the 52 has not had time to rebuild.

For you, for others

For you

When urgency rises around you, ask yourself whose it is before you get up. Give your high-spirited evenings an end time, so that Monday does not pay for Friday.

For others

A friend whose chart has this cross will pull you into an impromptu evening: follow him when you feel like it. Do not take his stillness amid the commotion for indifference; he is waiting to find out what is really urgent.

Frequently asked questions about the Left Angle Cross of Healing

Does the 58 need occasions?

It makes the most of them. A proposal gives its drive an object; without one, the zest for life settles on whatever comes along, a market, a walk, a visit. The 52, beside it, keeps part of the pressure for the work that will be worth it.

Does the 58 bring an eye for correcting things?

No. Spotting what is wrong belongs to Gate 18, Correction, in the Spleen Center, which is not part of this cross. The 58 supplies the drive; with the 18 elsewhere in the chart, the Channel of Judgment gives it a target.

Do you recover better from a hard blow with this cross?

The blow is felt in full. The 25 takes nothing away from anger; it simply opens, alongside it, a space for what comes next. None of its gates announces or spares hardships.

Does other people’s impatience get the 52 moving?

Not on its own. The 52 holds the pressure instead of spending it at the first signal; what sets it in motion is a task that the type’s strategy and the chart’s authority accept. A client in a hurry does not make a screed dry faster.
