A gesture repeated hundreds of times becomes a craft, and this craft shows itself without being taught. Still, each task has to have been accepted by the gut, and the broader desires have to have had time to settle.

Two Suns in the same center

Here the Sacral receives both Suns: the Personality Sun in Gate 14, Power Skills, the Design Sun in Gate 29, Saying Yes. Two gates in the same center are not enough to define it. Each has its harmonic gate in the G Center, Gate 2, The Direction of the Self, for the 14, Gate 46, Determination of the Self, for the 29; without one of them or another Sacral channel, the strength these two gates use comes from the people around. As for the angle, the cross is a Right Angle cross, associated with a personal destiny.

The January tandem

One Saturday in January, a woman wheels a 1970s tandem, inherited from an uncle, into the community bike workshop. The volunteers look at one another: none of them has ever adjusted one.

Mathurin, who has been coming to this workshop in Nantes for twelve years, is already crouched in front of the rear crankset. He consults nothing; his hands move from one nut to the next as if on a bike he had built himself.

What he knows is written down nowhere. He learned it repair after repair, on Saturdays he wanted to give.

That same month, the board asks him to run a workshop for the neighborhood kids. He answers that he would rather keep his hands in the grease. The tandem rolls out three weeks later, on its own two wheels.

A craft you can see at work

Repeated a hundred times, an accepted task ends up belonging to the person: a know-how no one passed on to them, which others see at work. The 14 turns the strength given to these tasks into skill; Gate 8, Contribution, at the Earth, puts this skill in front of those who have a use for it.

The Design gates decide what goes into this craft. The yes of the 29 gives access to a task and sustains it for a long time; Gate 30, Recognition of Feelings, feeds broader desires, which need several moods before they can be read.

Volume in place of know-how

A recognized know-how attracts requests. The 14 may then measure its worth by the number of repairs accepted, more than by what it has done well. Mathurin ended up posting the time slots when he does repairs; the rest of the time, he says no.

An open Sacral lets the 14 and the 29 work and respond on the momentum of others. Years later, the person discovers they have become an expert in a craft that the people around them had chosen for them.

The desire of the 30 changes face from week to week. Taken at its word on an evening of enthusiasm, it commits the know-how to a project that the next day’s mood disowns.

In a Manifesting Generator’s chart, the strength of the 14 can start three repairs at once without the workshop’s board knowing anything about it; it is the silence, more than the work, that the person is blamed for afterward.

For you, for others

For you

Your gut knows which tasks will teach you your craft: give them your hours. The others can go to someone who wants them.

For others

When a friend has this cross, congratulate him on what he did well rather than on the hours he spent on it: it is the volume that wears him out, not the work he chose.

Frequently asked questions about the Right Angle Cross of Contagion

Does the 14 have to be seen in order to exist?

It needs no one in order to exist: know-how shows in what has been done, not in what is displayed of it. The 8, at the Earth, puts it in front of those who have a use for it, without the person having to put themselves forward.

How can you learn what this person knows?

By watching them do it, first of all. Their knowledge lies in gestures repeated a hundred times more than in explanations; nothing prevents turning it into a class, but that is not what their gates describe.

Without Gate 2, does the 14 lack a course?

It lacks a course held in the G Center. With its harmonic gate, Gate 2, The Direction of the Self, the 14 forms a channel that makes know-how accumulate in a single direction; without the 2, it can be spread across several fields.

Why does the desire of the 30 come back in waves?

The gate sits in the Solar Plexus, whose mood rises and falls at its own pace. Desire follows this movement; you learn that it holds by finding it unchanged at different moments.
