Dreamspell
Kin 7: Blue Resonant Hand
Dreamspell
7of 260
For the Resonant Hand, care begins with the ear: before repairing anything, you hear what is asking to be repaired.
Your Hand’s work starts less from a decision than from listening. First you pick up what a situation calls for: the object that is off, the task everyone avoids, the discomfort no one has named. The hands follow, and the knowledge they apply comes to you through a kind of attunement with what surrounds you, not through a plan drawn up in advance.
This Hand’s way of listening has its downside. What you pick up makes you want to start projects, and every project left open makes noise, a noise that drowns out precisely what your tone needs to hear. The more unfinished work piles up around you, the less you know which piece matters.
The Blue Storm, your guide, does not wait until it has heard something to get moving: its energy is self-generated. It brings your Resonant Hand what listening alone does not provide, an impulse that does not depend on what comes from outside. Where the Hand would like to restore things to their former state, the Storm steers you toward a kind of care that accepts transformation: what you see through to the end may come out of it changed, and that is not a failed repair.
Staying open enough to hear what is waiting for care, and firm enough to carry that care through when your listening has already spotted the next thing: your Kin plays out between these two demands.

- The Occult (hidden power), the White Wizard
- The Wizard reveals to the Hand that true healing comes through turning beliefs around, not through action alone.
