Kin 149: Red Rhythmic Moon
Dreamspell
149of 260
A Rhythmic Moon’s feelings settle back into place through action: it is by tidying, walking, making a meal that your emotions find their level again.
A day full of emotion doesn’t untangle itself, for you, in front of a blank page. It untangles while you sort out a cupboard, rework a schedule, repaint a wall. While your hands put things in order outside, the water settles inside, and afterward you know what you feel. This effectiveness hides a trap: a Moon that calms down by keeping busy can also keep busy so as not to feel. You organize the birthday party, manage a parent’s medical appointments, coordinate a friend’s move, and the emotion stays underneath, never rising to the surface. Outer order then becomes a dam, no longer a rhythm.
Here it is the Moon itself that guides, doubled, and no outside influence comes to impose a tempo on your water. The tempo is already its own, the tempo of the tides, which rise and fall without one being the other’s failure. For a Rhythmic Moon that guides itself, balance is not a stable level to reach through constant activity, but the alternation between the moment when you act and the moment when you let what is coming rise. When you start tidying, does the gesture go along with the tide, or hold it back?
