A week whose days always follow one another in the same way carries the work without anyone having to restart it. The urge to change everything gets said out loud, questions and memories keep circling; meanwhile, the order of the days holds.

A single motor among three centers

Of the three centers these four gates touch, the Sacral is the only one that supplies working energy. The Head, home of the 63 and the 64, exerts a pressure that seeks an answer without being able to act; the Throat, where the 35 sits, expresses whatever is brought to it. The cross’s energy therefore runs through Gate 5, Fixed Patterns, when a channel defines its center.

The 5 is completed by Gate 15, Extremes, in the G Center. If the 5-15, the Channel of Rhythm, were the only channel in a chart, it would be a Generator chart, with Sacral Authority: the cadence of the 5 would follow the gut’s responses. This version belongs to the Right Angle, a personal destiny according to Human Design.

A piano tuner’s round

On Monday mornings, before her private clients, the piano tuner stops at one school in the district, just one, always in the order she set three years ago. Blandine has never made a plan of it. By June, all thirty school pianos have been seen, and no week has felt heavy.

At the end-of-year fair of one of the schools, in June, she announces that she would happily give up the schools to tune only concert pianos. A principal takes her at her word and warns her colleagues. In September, Blandine spends her evenings reassuring the schools: nothing had been decided. On the first Monday of the new school year, she opens the piano at the district school, at the usual time.

An order that carries the rest

The order of the week serves as a support for everything else. Once each task has its set place, the working energy no longer needs to be summoned when the Sacral is defined: it shows up at the hours it knows.

The 35, at the Earth, puts words to what could change. In a week that holds, these words do not have to become actions to be useful: they say what is moving in the person; the gut’s response later sorts out what deserves a place.

The 63 and the 64, on the Design side, add the pressure of the Head: something to check, a memory resurfacing. The settled work gives them time to ripen without their dictating the schedule.

A remark taken at face value

A passing remark about a change can be taken for a decision. Saying you might drop a client is enough for them to start looking for someone else; the 35 has spoken, nothing was settled. With a defined Sacral, the decision belongs to the gut’s response, not to the remark.

The pressure of the Head keeps no office hours. A question about an instrument that will not hold its tuning, an old job coming back to mind, and the evening set aside for rest goes by in searching: what the 5 has put in order, the 63 and the 64 can overrun.

For you, for others

For you

Let your urges to change everything remain words until your gut has taken them up; your week does not have to be rebuilt each time you talk about it.

For others

When a colleague with this cross talks about changing everything, wait before drawing any conclusion: her week, for its part, does not move until something has decided otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about the Right Angle Cross of Consciousness

Does this cross suit a job on the road?

Yes. The 5 sets no place, only an order that comes back around. A round that changes route every day can keep the same calendar from one week to the next.

Do the memories of the 64 disrupt a settled week?

They do not change its order. The images the 64 stirs up on the Design side come back when they please, without asking for a time slot; the settled work goes on while they wait for their meaning.

What sets this Cross of Consciousness apart from the other three?

Its Personality Sun gate, the 5. The cross starts from an order of life that the gut supports, and the other three gates relate to it: the urge slots into it, doubt checks it, memory settles into it.

Can a chosen routine change?

Yes, when the gut responds to a new proposal. The 5 cares that an order comes back around, not that it stays identical: what the gut accepts takes a place, and the next order forms around it.
