Four gates, no pair
Depth is both the name of this cross and the name of Gate 48, at the Personality Sun. Its four gates sit in the Spleen Center, the Heart and the Root without forming any channel with one another. The 48’s harmonic gate, in the Throat, is Gate 16, Skills. The other three gates also have theirs outside the cross.
Testing the scanner on himself
In a small dental laboratory, Vianney polishes a crown, turns it under the lamp and puts it in its box well before the scheduled time. The dentist who receives it the next day does not touch it up at all.
Vianney ordered the first impression scanner in the neighborhood without waiting for others to take the plunge, then tried it on his own jaw the evening it was delivered.
He is now aiming for implant-supported prostheses, the next stage in the trade, and impatience never leaves him: he has already asked the dentist to send him the first case.
Stopping at the right place

An open Root makes every step glimpsed seem urgent. The 54 demands the implants, a training course, a second workstation, all in the same season; the laboratory runs with less attention than before.
A beginning launched because the pressure is rising, and not because the chart’s authority said yes, stops at the first attempt.
The rightness of the 48 applies to the piece at hand; it says nothing about what the dentist expects. Imposing it on a practitioner who wanted something else loses a client the hand had nonetheless served well.
