Frequently asked questions about the Yellow Human
Why can the Human change radically after a toxic relationship?
Because it absorbs. Not like a passive sponge: like someone who learns through total immersion. It adopts the frameworks, beliefs, and ways of seeing of the people it spends time with. That is what makes it such an accurate reader of the world when it is surrounded by solid people. But six months with someone cynical, paranoid, or simply very closed, and it comes out with convictions that were never its own.
Where does what the Human knows before others come from?
From what it has lived. This is no pose: its advice comes neither from a book nor from a training course, but from the moments when it got things wrong, picked up the pieces, and started again differently. What it passes on has a density people feel without always being able to name it.
For the Human, is the power to choose badly a curse or a freedom?
Both, depending on what it does with it. It is the only seal that can freely choose against its own nature. In concrete terms, it can stay in a situation that harms it far longer than anyone else, knowing perfectly well what it is doing. But it also means that when it chooses well, it is a real choice: not fate, not luck, but a conscious decision.
The Wind is the Human’s Antipode: what does it reveal about what the Human lacks?
The Wind communicates on principle, not from experience: it says things because they need to be said. The Human does the opposite. It speaks from what it has lived, which is more solid, but also heavier to carry. The Antipode points to what resists it: the lightness of the freely given message, words that don’t have to be earned to have value.
