The Self-Existing Dragon’s care takes the form of a framework: before watching over what is being born, it builds walls for it.

A fixed schedule for the child who arrives, a clear document for the project that is starting, a room set up for the parent who comes back to live with you. Your way of protecting goes through the structure. People lean on you because they know where the limits are, what they can expect, and at what time.

A more basic problem remains. What has just been born has no outline yet; it is a draft, a desire, someone who doesn’t know where they are going. Your tone is wary of that vagueness, and yet the Dragon wants to take care of it. Two easy paths then open up: closing the door on whatever is too vague to reassure you, or imposing a form on it before it has shown its own.
