Ideas arrive anywhere, without demanding follow-through; the words that could carry them wait to be invited. The body, for its part, commits to a piece of work and stays with it, carried by a universal love of life as a whole.
Neighbors but not partners
The 11 sits in the Ajna, the 12 in the Throat, two neighboring centers, without any channel linking them. The 11’s harmonic gate is Gate 56, Stimulation, also in the Throat: where the chart includes it, the Channel of Curiosity turns images into stories told aloud. The two Design gates share the G Center, where they hold two of the loves this center gathers: love of the body for the 46, universal love for the 25.
Three summers in the high pastures
Six hundred ewes spend the summer in the high pastures above a mountain village, in Ingrid’s care. She was supposed to replace a shepherdess on leave; this is her third season.
The morning climbs wore her legs out at first, then her body got used to the terrain; she can no longer imagine spending June down below.
A storm traps her for two days in the hut with a lost hiker. She makes him coffee and asks him about his work as a glassblower. She comes down from those two days with one more story, not with a bad memory.
In September, the herders’ association asks the shepherds for ideas for the festival marking the flocks’ return from the mountain. Ingrid sends six that same evening: a sheep-bell contest, a coloring map of the huts, a meal served on the square like a stop in the high pastures. None is chosen. By the next day, she has stopped thinking about it.
A presence that lasts, images that pass
Work that only yields its results after several seasons needs someone whose body does not give up along the way; the 46 provides that staying power.
Alongside it, the 11 brings images that ask for nothing, and the 12 waits until a conversation makes room for them before saying them.
The 25 loves existence as a whole, uneventful days included. A week of rain takes nothing away from the person’s love of what they do.
Offering without being invited
A chart whose only channel was the 25-51, the Channel of Initiation, would indicate a Projector with Ego Authority. For this Type, recognition comes through invitation: offered without being asked for, the ideas of the 11 miss the mark, and bitterness follows.
Universal love can serve as an excuse. Finding everything interesting does not tell you what to accept; this general appetite chooses nothing, whereas the authority of the chart does.
For you, for others
For you
Stay where your body finds its place, and share your ideas with whoever asks for them, without expecting them to lead you anywhere.
For others
When a friend with this cross tells you about an idea, take it for what it is, an image to share, without asking her when she plans to carry it out.
Frequently asked questions about the Left Angle Cross of Education
Do the ideas of this cross come from hands-on experience?
Not necessarily. The 11 produces images anywhere, at work or during a commute; the 46 commits the body to a path and keeps it there. The two traits sit in the same cross without one arising from the other.
Who are the ideas of this cross meant for?
For whoever asks for them. The 12 waits for an opening before saying them; an idea offered to someone who asked for it is more likely to be taken up than an idea tossed into the void.
What does the Left Angle mean for ideas that come on their own?
Transpersonal karma: that is the meaning attributed to the Left Angle. This angle is also tied to the idea of a purpose that needs others in order to be fulfilled. The images of the 11 still come on their own, anywhere: the angle changes nothing about the gate.
When should you leave a path you have held to for a long time?
The body gives the clue. When the desire to stay no longer comes from it but from the fear of losing a point of reference, the question deserves to be asked; the authority of the chart decides the answer.
