Galactic Tone 5: The Overtone tone

Galactic tone

5of 13

In the wavespell: day 5
Kin with this tone: 20
Guide: 8 seals ahead, in the same color

The tone 5 row: 20 Kin out of 260

Your tone: Overtone

You radiate an authority you don’t seek, and people instinctively turn to you. It is not ego: it is the mark of your tone, and it works whether you want it to or not.

Its influence on your seal

With the Overtone tone, your seal naturally takes the lead. People assume you are in charge before you have said a word, and often you are: not because you claimed it, but because your presence gives off a kind of sovereignty that others organize themselves around on their own.

The 20 Kin of tone 5

Tone 5 comes back every 13 days and meets each of the 20 seals once in the cycle. For each of these Kin, the guide is 8 seals ahead, in the same color.

Frequently asked questions about the Overtone tone

Does tone 5 seek authority?

No, and that is precisely what sets it apart. It is others who grant it authority without it asking: people assume it is in charge, that it knows, that it leads. Depending on how it carries this, it can be a resource or a burden.

What does tone 5 look like at its most difficult?

Other people’s projections become too heavy. Tone 5 receives the expectations of those around it without necessarily having invited them. If it doesn’t draw a clear line between who it really is and who others want it to be, it ends up playing a role instead of being itself.

What does tone 5 demand more than any other?

A clear awareness of the effect it has on people, even without doing anything. A tone 5 that ignores the symbolic weight people give it creates dynamics around it that it never wanted. This awareness is not optional: it is the condition for its radiance to be real, and not merely perceived.
