Putting its day in order is often enough for the Rhythmic Earth to regain its footing: its bearings come back to it through doing rather than through thinking it over.

On days when nothing seems to make sense anymore, thinking hardly helps you. You tidy a desk, you redo a schedule, you deal with three pending errands, and the indications come back on their own: a call in the middle of a task, a document found just when it was needed. Your Earth reads events better when your hands are busy. This putting in order does have a price, though. A well-regulated day leaves little room for the unexpected, and the unexpected is the Earth’s raw material; by dint of organizing, a sign ends up filed under setbacks, and the encounter that disrupted the schedule is put off until later.

No one else in the oracle comes to loosen your schedule: it is the Earth that guides the Earth, with double strength. The Rhythmic’s footing is therefore not gained against events but with them, and the right rhythm, here, includes empty slots where what happens can take its place without being treated as a delay.
