Lived images come back unconnected to one another and stay suspended as long as their meaning has not arrived. Nothing hurries them; the person lets them come, and it is elsewhere, among others, that they find what to act on.
A Juxtaposition in the Head
The cross and Gate 64, Confusion, the gate of its Personality Sun, bear the same name. Its angle, the Juxtaposition, is spoken of as a fixed fate. People of this angle also form a bridge between the Right Angle and the Left Angle. Two of its gates are in the Head, each with its harmonic gate in the Ajna; the other two, in the Heart and the Throat, do not have theirs in the cross.
Adèle’s nights
Adèle drives a semi between Brittany and Italy. On the long straight stretches, scenes come back in no order: a schoolyard, a warehouse rented ten years ago, the voice of a former boss. She does not try to connect them; she lets them pass with the miles.
When the company cuts the hotel nights on the return trip, the drivers each complain on their own. One evening, at a rest area, she suggests sharing the two apartments some of them rent near the depot and keeping a chart of free nights. Within a week, everyone knows where to sleep.
Pooling what was drifting
The 64 tolerates the disorder of memories without requiring them to fall into place, and the 63, at the Earth, sets aside the first version that comes along.
The two Design gates, the 45 and the 26, turn the person toward others. The first gives a rallying point to what each person was handling alone; the second, the self-assurance to propose without apologizing.
Questions that are not hers
An open Head picks up what others are wondering about and amplifies it. A colleague wonders aloud about a route, and the question occupies the driver all the way to the border, even though the trip is not hers.
The 26 can defend a proposal after it has stopped being right. The self-assurance that got it accepted then serves to avoid revisiting it.
Bringing people together can also be a way of getting noticed. With an open Throat, the person may propose one more chart, one more meeting, that no one had asked for and that quickly fall flat.
For you, for others
For you
Welcome images in the order they come. When a shared solution presents itself, propose it without waiting to be asked twice.
For others
When a relative has this cross, leave their memories without conclusions. Like any 4/1, they only give an opinion once the question has been studied, and give it first to those close to them. Be one of them.
Frequently asked questions about the Juxtaposition Cross of Confusion
How long does it take for an image to make sense?
Nothing sets a length of time. The 64 describes a wait with no deadline: a scene may become clear the next day, or years later, when another one joins it.
Why does this cross turn memories toward others?
Because its two Design gates sit one in the Throat, the 45, the other in the Heart, the 26. What the Head stirs up without being able to act finds there a voice that brings people together and a will that proposes.
Does the self-assurance of the 26 suit a reserved person?
Yes. It does not depend on the volume of the voice but on what the person knows about what they are proposing; a calm sentence is enough to show it.
Does doubting a memory erase it?
No. The 63 examines what is said about an image, not the image itself; a story set aside leaves the memory intact, ready for another reading.
