The zest for life overflows the calendar; yet pauses keep part of the pressure in reserve. The work stops at the right point, and what was promised is kept.
No Channel of Judgment
Having a Juxtaposition means having a fixed fate and serving as a bridge between Right Angle people and Left Angle people. Here, the 58 lacks its harmonic gate, Gate 18, Correction; a chart that contains it elsewhere forms the Channel of Judgment, in which the zest for life receives from instinct a target to fix. Without it, the drive of the 58 stays whole; it only lacks this designated object.
Tuesday at the gym
On Tuesday evenings, the gym lights come on because Justine arrives. She coaches the neighborhood volleyball team. The players come because she is there: no one has to chase them.
When the first one walks in, Justine is already stretching the net.
During the warm-up, she stops an exercise after eight minutes. The players are ready; she can see it in the way they move, without trying to prove it.
Enthusiasm and measure
A zest for life that does not wear itself out in agitation: the 58 directs what the Root pushes toward the pleasure of being alive. The 52 leaves it intact between two bursts.
An effort that stops in time, a commitment kept without supervision: the 48 decides during the effort what is enough, without justifying it in advance, and the 21 holds what it has taken charge of without those around having to check up on it.
Staying out of loyalty
In a 4/1, the 4th line binds the person to lasting bonds, and this loyalty can hold them back. A coach stays in a club that no longer suits her, out of loyalty to players who, for their part, have left.
The drive of the 58 can also drown out the stop of the 48. When the urge to keep going rises, the moment when the training was just right goes by unnoticed. The team finishes the session tired for nothing.
For you, for others
For you
Welcome the projects people offer you before launching others: your zest for life finds better use in them. Stop the effort when your hand says so, even if the planned time is not up.
For others
If a friend has this cross, invite her: her drive needs an object, and an invitation gives her one.
Frequently asked questions about the Juxtaposition Cross of Vitality
Does the 52 hold back the zest for life?
It puts it in reserve. As long as no task comes along, the 52 holds back its pressure; the drive loses nothing by it, it stays ready for the decision that follows.
Does the 58 act without a channel in the chart?
Yes. As soon as it appears in the chart, the 58 directs the push of the Root toward the zest for life; the center is only defined through a channel, and this cross forms none. When it stays open, part of the pressure comes from those around.
Why stop an effort before the planned time?
Because the 48 judges during the effort what is enough. The Spleen Center decides in the moment; prolonging things for reassurance tires you without adding anything.
Are the 21 and the 48 linked?
No channel links them. One wants to keep control of what is its due, the other judges in the moment what is enough; in the same piece of work, they cross paths without directing each other. A budget kept and an exercise stopped in time thus come from two distinct judgments, one of willpower, the other of instinct.
