Gestures repeated at the same hours end up forming a body of work nobody had planned; on days when the mood rises, others are welcomed into it. The regularity comes from Gate 5, Fixed Patterns, the gate of the Personality Sun.

Two half-channels

Two channels link the Throat to the Solar Plexus; the cross holds one half of each. The 35, in the Throat, has as its harmonic gate Gate 36, Crisis, in the Solar Plexus; the 22, in the Solar Plexus, has as its harmonic gate Gate 12, Caution, in the Throat. The chart only needs to contain one of these two harmonic gates for a motor to connect to the Throat.

A chart whose only channel was the 12-22, the Channel of Openness, would point to a Manifestor with Emotional Authority, who lets the wave pass before deciding.

The eight o’clock readings

Ferdinand is a technician in a soil research laboratory. For six years, at eight o’clock, he has recorded the temperature and humidity of forty test plots, always starting with the one at the far end. Nobody asked him to beyond the first season. The series now covers six years without a gap.

The day a doctoral student arrives for a thesis on drought, he is in an open mood. He takes her out to the plots, opens his notebooks to her, invites her to lunch. She will build her thesis on those six years.

A month later, a master’s student asks to see the notebooks on a day when Ferdinand does not feel like talking to anyone. He replies that he does not have time and tells him to come back the following week. The student returns; this time, Ferdinand gives him the whole afternoon.

What repetition accumulates

The 5 spares you from starting from scratch every morning: an accepted task comes back at its hour and accumulates, until it is worth more than the sum of the days.

The 35, at the Earth, keeps the series from becoming an end in itself: the urge to change method or tool gets voiced, even after six years of the same gesture.

When the mood rises, Gate 22, on the Design side, opens to others. Those who arrive on those days are welcomed wholeheartedly, with a warmth that is not put on.

A mood taken for a refusal

When the mood of the 22 drops, the door half closes. Those around may read it as a lack of interest, when the welcome has not changed in value: it follows a wave.

An explanation coming from someone else can also take the place of the one from the 47. The risk grows when the Ajna is open: a colleague offers his version of a failed series of measurements, which soothes in the moment, then occupies the place of the understanding that would have come by itself.

The transpersonal karma attributed to the Left Angle of this version, read as a duty to welcome everyone who turns up, leads to opening the door on low days too, and paying for it in the evening.

For you, for others

For you

Keep your hours and let those who want to make use of them come to you. What you have accumulated alone can become the work of several people.

For others

Your colleague has this cross: she gives you plenty of time one day and very little the next; come back, the mood will have turned.

Frequently asked questions about the Left Angle Cross of Separation

What happens to the welcome of the 22 when the Solar Plexus is defined?

It follows a wave produced from within, and authority goes to this center, which comes before all the others for deciding. A welcome promised in a burst of enthusiasm is then better confirmed once the wave has come back down.

Does such a regular order weigh on those close to the person?

It gives them reference points. The 5 keeps its hours without requiring those close to adopt them, and those who live alongside the person quickly learn when to approach them.

Does a strict routine shut the door on others?

Not if you do not ask the welcome to be as regular as the work. The 5 keeps an order, the 22 follows a mood; those who join the person find both.

Does a long series end up explaining itself?

Not through repetition alone. The 5 accumulates; the 47, on the Design side, draws from what has been lived an understanding that arrives in its own time, through a seemingly unrelated detail, and that nobody can hurry.
