The 57, on the Design side, has three possible harmonic gates: the 10, the 20 and the 34.
With Gate 34, Power, it forms the Channel of Power, which connects the Spleen Center to the Sacral. With this channel alone, the chart would be a Generator’s, and the decision would rest with the Sacral. The alertness of the 57 would say whether the place is safe, without deciding on commitment.
The 51 needs Gate 25, Spirit of the Self, to form a channel. Without it, the shock relies on the willpower the rest of the chart supplies.
The score sheet on the door
Before the return match against the league leader, the coach of a neighborhood handball team, Zacharie, taped the score sheet from the first game to the locker room door: 31 to 14. Nobody said a word while changing. The team lost by two goals, fighting until the last second.
One rainy evening, he sent the team out to run in the parking lot instead of going into the small gym, without being able to say why. The players grumbled, then ran.
Stinging, then staying
A group that is dozing off finds someone to sting it into action and then stay on the question: the 39 provokes, the Earth in the 38 holds on.
The 51 and the 57, on the Design side, add a fresh start after a setback and an immediate alertness. Coming from the profile, the Left Angle speaks of transpersonal karma, which the person lives through others.
A team tired of challenges
Two gates push toward shaking things up, the 39 and the 51. Added together, they turn every session into a test, and even the strongest group ends up tired of being constantly challenged.
A provocation needs someone who can respond to it. Aimed at the youngest, at the substitute who rarely plays, it stirs nothing: it crushes him.
The 38 wants to hold on, the 57 sometimes says to let go on the spot. Listening to the first against the second means keeping a practice going on a slippery field out of mere pride in not canceling.

Is the 38 enough to finish what the 39 started?
It gives the means to last, not permission. A matter pursued without the authority having accepted it costs the chart: frustration in a Generator, bitterness in a Projector who has not been invited.
Does Gate 39 need an audience?
At least someone who can respond. The 39 is looking for a reaction; in front of a group that can respond, its question stirs something up; in front of no one, its only effect is to let off excess pressure.
