No good news has arrived; yet a student’s mood suddenly lifts one Saturday morning. Nothing bad had happened either when it dropped on Thursday. This mood follows a movement of its own, which events do not explain.
A spirit that rises and falls
In the Solar Plexus, mood rises and then falls again at a rhythm of its own, without any event giving the signal. Gate 55 makes this movement perceptible: a spirit that goes from melancholy to abundance without life having changed in the slightest detail.
If Gate 39, The Provocateur, joins the chart from the Root, the Channel of Emoting forms under the number 39-55: the pressure of that center comes to feed the rises and falls of the mood. This channel settles the question of Authority in advance: since the Solar Plexus comes before all the other centers in the order of the calculation, any chart that contains it decides through the wave.
