Without clear outlines, the Self-Existing Eagle does not trust its vision: it first has to give it a form.

You see far, but you also want to see clearly. A sense of the whole is not enough for you: you divide it up, measure it, translate it into a diagram, a plan, a definition. This work makes your perspectives transferable, because others can use them. You have given them a structure, not just an impression.

Scale is the problem. The Eagle looks at immense wholes; your tone wants them to have edges. The wider the view, the more it resists being shaped, and you can spend a considerable amount of time drawing the outline of a vision instead of living it. The framework, instead of opening the way, holds back the flight.

The Antipode, the Red Serpent: The Serpent lives in the body, in instinct, in the immediate: it forces the Eagle to come down from its overview and feel what is happening now, not just analyze it.
The Occult (hidden power), the White World-Bridger: Beneath the Eagle’s vision, the World-Bridger knows that every height reached requires the death of what came before: true vision includes what must be left behind.
