The thirteenth tone gives the Serpent a body that remembers: each period it has been through has left an imprint, and you carry the whole within you.

You sense that a job is coming to an end months before the resignation letter. Certain dates come back in your back or in your sleep without your having marked them. Your reflexes bear the trace of everything you have lived through, and the loved ones who consult you receive an answer fed by this long experience of the body, not only by the present situation.

Here is the difficulty. A Serpent reacts in the moment, by nature. The Cosmic holds an entire arc, the past and what is to come, with a certain loftiness. A body pulled toward immediate reaction and a gaze resting on the whole do not always get along: you can feel here and elsewhere at the same time, and it is often the body, made for the present, that tires of this double position.
