Dreamspell
Kin 2: White Lunar Wind
Dreamspell
2of 260
Your Wind words usually come to you when you are facing someone who does not think the way you do.
In front of a blank page or in the privacy of your own head, an idea circles without settling. Then someone objects, in a meeting or at the dinner table, and the right sentence arrives all at once. Disagreement is your whetstone: it is in answering that your message gets its edge and that you understand what you meant to say.
That same moment holds a trap specific to the Wind. Because speech is its element, it answers quickly and loudly; faced with resistance, it rephrases, insists, raises its voice. The exchange becomes a contest in which the point is to win. You may win the argument, but you lose what the objection was teaching you about your own message.
The White Wizard that guides you acts by receiving rather than by forcing. To your Lunar Wind, it brings the pause the contest eliminates: letting the opposing argument take effect in you before you answer. What it conveys does not seek to convince; it works because it has first received. With the Wizard, the person who contradicts you stops being an obstacle to get past and becomes the one through whom your words grow clearer. Faced with someone who contradicts you, are you trying to win, or to hear what you were missing?

- The Analog, the Red Earth
- The Earth grounds what the Wind transmits. Without it, the message stays brilliant but lands nowhere.
- The Antipode, the Yellow Human
- The Human reminds the Wind that wisdom is worth nothing if no one can receive it. Intelligence without warmth doesn’t get through.
- The Occult (hidden power), the Blue Storm
- The Storm turns beneath the Wind: the capacity to reset everything, to break what no longer holds, a force the Wind would rather ignore but that is part of it.
The Red Dragon wavespell
Kin 2 is day 2 of the Red Dragon wavespell, a run of 13 days from Kin 1 to Kin 13. Each day of the wavespell carries the tone of its place: the second carries tone 2.
